Just moved to NYC ... tried PJ Bernstein Deli when my husband had a cold and only wanted great chicken soup. Ordered chicken in the pot... PERFECT! So delicious ! I had a tongue sandwich... the rye bread was so soft and the meat was the best Ive ever had! So glad PJ Bernstein is around the corner! Ill be back very soon!

The pastrami and corned beef are better than ever! The pastrami was buttery and silken with just amount of spiciness. The corned beef was moist and not too salty. Even the seeded rye stands out - chewy interior and crisp crust. Keep up the good work!

Super fast delivery even though I live 20 blocks and 2 avenues away. Food was hot and delicious. The matzoh ball soup consomme with noodles was perfect and my perogens were a little greasy but very tasty. This will be my new go to for deli food.

Pastrami sandwich with the lean meat was very good, meat was definitely lean and tasty. French fries were typical french fries, nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely worth ordering from again. Could become my new local deli.

Every item we ever ordered at the restaurant over the years was impeccable, personal favorites are summer borscht and pastrami, never had better anywhere. The occasional home delivery always arrives promptly, 14 blocks away.
